The plate is good quality, it’s a shame the lettering does not cover the width of the pressed image, they would almost certainly be legal as it would only be the actual outside edges being trimmed. Having said that, I love tge look on my bobber.

Unfortunately people buy undersized plates because they need them for whatever reason (in my case a standard size plate overhangs the indicators on my motorbike which is unsafe). Reducing the size of the plate slightly is ideal; However, it seems your metal pressed plates all have vastly reduced font size and increased spacing, it would of course need to have a smaller font to fit but it's far too small for the plate and there is lots of wasted space around the lettering compared to a standard plate. It's practically useless to use on the road as is very clearly undersize. Plastic plates of the same size have much better sizing.
