Our plates use the correct Charles Wright typeface, maintain proper spacing, and have the correct reflective backing.
Do Gel Plates Show Up On ANPR?
Yes, our 4D gel plates are designed to show up on automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) systems. By complying with BS AU 145e standards, including using the correct typeface, character size, and spacing, we ensure that our gel number plates are easily readable and fully compliant.

Can 4D Number Plates Be Used On All Vehicles?
Provided they comply with DVLA standards, 4D gel plates are suitable for all vehicles. Here at Chase Lane Plates, our 4D number plates come in 520 x 111mm, the standard size for most vehicles.
How Do I Clean And Maintain 4D Gel Plates?
4D gel plates are easy to maintain, and can be more durable than standard plates. Avoid using any harsh cleaning products on them - instead, opt for gentle car shampoo and a microfibre cloth to avoid scratching or damaging the acrylic.
How Are 4D Gel Plates Fitted to a Vehicle?
4D gel plates can be fitted using either adhesive pads or screws, depending on your preference and your vehicle’s existing setup. Double-sided adhesive pads provide a clean, secure, and drill-free installation. Simply stick and press firmly onto a clean, dry surface.
If your vehicle requires screw fitting, ensure you use proper fixings and screw through the designated holes to avoid damaging the plate surface.
